FAQ’s | The Seed School

Quick answers to what parents ask us most.

Do you help with potty training?

Yes. Our toddler teachers work with you to support potty training when your child shows they’re ready, so the routine is the same at school and at home.

What if my child is sick?

For everyone’s health, children with a fever, vomiting, diarrhea or a contagious condition should stay home. If your child becomes sick at school, we’ll call you to pick them up.

Do you accept CCIS?

Yes. We accept Child Care Works (CCIS). If you already have a subsidy, bring your paperwork when you enroll. If you’re applying, contact us and we’ll walk you through the next steps.

What are drop-off and pickup rules?

Parents check children in and out using brightwheel. Children are released only to adults on your approved pickup list, who must show photo ID.

When are you closed?

We’re closed on major holidays. Closures and weather updates are posted in Announcements and sent through brightwheel.

What happens on the first day?

Plan a few extra minutes at drop-off to meet the teacher and settle in. You’ll get updates and photos through brightwheel during the day. Most children adjust within the first week or two.

Some answers above (fever threshold, late-pickup policy, CCIS process, holiday list) are being confirmed with our director and will be updated to match our parent handbook.
